Come and see our gardens!

Come and tour one of the gardens cultivated by the Live and Thrive Community Garden Group. We'll share delicious bagels, breads, or baked goods from local businesses!

All of our gardens are located in private, residential backyards totaling more than three acres of nutrient-rich soil in five convenient locations across the Salt Lake valley. Currently, the Holladay Gardens are the only ones open. As we get further into spring, we'll show you a variety of garden types including hydroponic gardens, vertical gardens, and our new high-tunnel greenhouse garden.  A rich selection of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and fruits are harvested each year.

Take a tour of our Holladay Gardens

The tours are available to anyone, no membership is necessary. RSVP is required.

Holladay: 2836 E Casto Lane (5060 So.) Holladay, UT  84117
Our other gardens in South Jordan, Taylorsville, Riverton and West Jordan are not open yet.

Go to our Calendar of Events and RSVP for a day and time when we are already working in the gardens.  If you like, come and work with us in our gardens for a little while!

If you are new to the Live and Thrive Community Garden Group, you can get an introduction to the organization, its philosophy, and all the resources available when you visit our Holladay Gardens.  There is no obligation to join when you come and visit but we enthusiastically welcome new members!   Watch our Garden Calendar of Events and visit any garden that we are working in.  The schedule is updated every week.   Contact Sheryl if you have a question or for more information (801-278-5313 or email: Sheryl@liveandthrive.com.)

The Live and Thrive Community Garden Group is unique because, instead of assigning each member an individual plot, our members combine efforts and share the harvest from all of our gardens. That allows members to have flexibility with their schedule, take time off when necessary, work every day if they like, and enjoy an abundant, weekly harvest!  We send out weekly newsletters with current garden photos, delicious recipes, progress reports, workshops, classes, and access to a wealth of information online.
